‘Others on the retreat (in the fabulous Sabina Hills, Italy) said I looked 10 years younger at the end of it. And I think they were right, that’s certainly how I felt. The combination of yin yoga and forest bathing was unique – simultaneously restorative, energising and restful. Unlike some other retreats, there was zero pressure to perform in any way. I liked the fact that most of the teaching was non-directional, and periods of silence were built into the day’s timetable.
