World Mental Health Day 2020

This year’s World Mental Health Day, Saturday 10 October, comes at a time when our daily lives have changed considerably as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The past months have brought many challenges: for health-care workers, providing care in difficult circumstances, going to work fearful of bringing COVID-19 home with them; for students, adapting to taking classes from home, with little contact with teachers and friends, and anxious about their futures; for workers whose livelihoods are threatened. Given this experience of emergencies, we all can use some support in our mental health and well-being.

This is a call to action to take leadership of your mental well-being. With the support and energy of other people around the world you can do it! Together it is easier and more fun. In the first six months of this year people from 22 countries around the world joined in one of our projects. Make a practice of meditating and mindfulness part of your daily life.

You can start by participating in the the-power-of-time-off ONLINE LIVE STREAMING retreat. You learn different meditation- and breathing techniques to MASTER YOUR MIND. 21-days online live stream guidance by Ingrid Valks. CLOSE EACH DAY WITH A 30-MINUTES MEDITATION from 21.00 – 21.30 hrs. GMT+1, Amsterdam time. Rest, digest and sleep well. All session are available during one month after the retreat. Start Monday 26 October.

Suggestion. Give this educational experience as a present to yourself, your friends or your employees!
