The challenge

The University of Amsterdam’s Tesla Minor (named after the innovative scientist Nikola Tesla) is a Consultancy Minor for MSc students, science master’s students. Ambitious and smart young professionals who are looking to deepen their self-awareness and to bridge the gap between science and society.

Our solution

Students who have been selected for this minor embark on a BeyondU program to unlock their purpose-in-life. To develop personal skills such as finding meaning in life, helps them to be prepared for a fulfilling career as a changemaker. These next generation of leaders in science embarked on a road less travelled.

Participants achieved a better understanding of their purpose and discovered how to apply this in the outside world. Their life-purpose will give direction during their career planning and in daily professional and personal life. It guides them through tough times and inspires to move forward.
