IB – Wellbeing and mental resilience as a weapon against burnout and absenteeism costs

The Challenge

The international educational organisation International Baccalaureate (IB) is very much engaged in developing lifelong learners who thrive and make a difference. And they practice what they preach. To continue to be the leading brand in the global educational marketplace their own teams need to be mentally fit and resilient. There is a serious challenge: many employees work with colleagues and clients in various time-zones. This requires flexibility and adaptability. Burnouts and high absenteeism costs are lurking.

Our solution

The launch of BeVital @ IB. A one-year online wellbeing plan with a holistic approach. The components of the Vitality Wheel are aimed at sustainable employability and conscious working and living. The personal ‘tailor-made’ nature of the program solves the problem of different time zones and employee availability. You do some of the active online learning experiences solo, and there are also sessions that you do together. Together is easier and more fun; and it creates a new positive dynamic between colleagues.

The result
